Lots of fans will descend on Stockholm in March – including members of other OGAE clubs – when we plan a long weekend with different activities.
The club’s party on Mellofinal day remains the centerpiece, but in co-operation with other partyfixers we look to make the experience better for all fans! Special deals can be expected for OGAE cardholders.
We start on Thursday 8th March at Gröna Jägaren with Mello and Eurovision karaoke. If you don’t want to sing yourself, come and cheer along those who do.
The party continues at Hard Rock Café on Friday 9th, where last year we held a roundup with Eurovision disco and guest artists. Expect some surprises! And if you are an OGAE cardholder, Hard Rock Café have special offers all week!
On Saturday 10th March it’s time for our traditional Melfestfinal party at Restaurant Mynchen, with a sit-down dinner and secret artist, and a chance to follow the show on big-screen TV if you don’t want to be at Friends Arena. The party continues into the small hours when a DJ will play Eurovision hits.
Finally, on Sunday 11th, an after-party will be held on the classic party-boat Patricia. Again, everyone with an OGAE membership card will be given VIP treatment, and in the evening there’s a show with the duo StorSchlaget.
So make a note in your diaries to come and meet friends from other European clubs over a fantastic weekend in Stockholm! More details will follow later. The only event that costs is our own Final party on the Saturday. You will be able to enrol for this in the new year.
