Melodifestivalklubben (OGAE Sweden) had a young enthusiastic project team take care of the preparations for the contest this year, but also hired a professional production crew, Sounday Production, in order to ensure a high quality broadcast show for Eurovision fans to enjoy from the comfort of their own homes. The virtual stage and graphics were made by our own show producer Daniel Stridh with script and content from our executive director Erik Persson. The production was a collaboration with NBV.
”During the last year, our project group has been so committed and hardworking in the production of making a great show for all the true Eurovision fans out there around the world. It has been truly inspiring to see all this creativity. Congratulations, Keiino, and OGAE Norway for making an historic victory, says OGAE Sweden president Alexander Borodin, who is also Executive Supervisor for the contest this year.
OGAE SCC project manager Emma Hellgren adds “We are so proud of this show and our amazing project group has done a fantastic job!”
The hosts this year are William Schmatz and Jad Ghafarian. Jad Ghafarian is a young host, comedian and actor and William Schmatz was the host for the SCC 2018 and is now on his way to become a musical artist.
